Yen Zidan responded to the “humiliating China” brand show

On Jan. 12, Yen Zidan launched a show for Philipp Plein, a fashion brand involved in “humiliating

China” and acted as a closing model during Milan Fashion Week, causing controversy among

netizens. In response, Yen Zidan’s studio issued a statement saying:Before the cooperation, he was

unaware of the brand’s humiliation and apologized for the team’s negligence. Mr. Yen Zidan stopped all

cooperation with the brand after he was informed. Yen Zidan also forwarded the statement, saying that

“no matter when, where and in what form, the motherland will never allow violations!”

It is reported that Philipp Plein, a fashion brand, has publicly sold a T-shirt with the words “F-U-C-K YOU

CHINA”, and the cuffs are embroidered with funny villains of the Qing Dynasty. The design of the

clothes has aroused widespread debate, and the brand apologized under pressure.
